Everything takes place in-office. It starts with a quick numbing of the area, then liposuction can take 5-20 minutes. You'll be awake the whole time and will be able to see your results that shape in real-time. 

Aftercare is included and there are no hidden fees. You will visit Dr. Schierle after 1-2 weeks to see how your results are coming along, then again after about 3 months. Otherwise, as you need us we are here for you.

I underwent a beard transplant procedure back in March of 2021. I met with Dr Rawlani for my initial consultation and he explained the different options available for me. I was able to ask all of my questions freely and he provided detailed answers. The procedure itself went very smoothly. Aside from minor discomfort while getting numbed (absolutely expected) I didn't feel any real pain. The pre-recorded Dr Rawlani created helped out so much in order to manage the aftercare. Dr Rawlani kept in touch with me over the course of the next year, checking in to see how I was doing and answering any questions.

On the day of the procedure, everything was focused on making me as comfortable as possible. In all honesty, the procedure was relaxing and as pleasant as a procedure like a hair transplant could possibly be.

The post operation procedure was clearly communicated, and I was given all materials needed to follow the post-op care plan. Also, I would receive SMS on post-op days detailing what to do.

During that time and until I showed up for the follow-up appointment, Dr. Rawlani would answer my questions even if late at night. On the follow-up appointment, Dr. Rawlani examined my scalp to ensure the healing process was going as planned.

His thoroughness, and care before, during, and post procedure is outstanding as well. The staff, and clinic he has is also outstanding with Dr. Carmen Ramirez, and Delilah, forgive me if misspelled. They were also fantastic. They were all very gentle, very skilled & caring. The whole procedure before, during, and after is so well thought out with even a care package that Dr. Rawlani prepared for me to take home after the procedure which includes everything you need including the rx's he previously prescribed for me. I really had no pain throughout, just seconds of very mild discomfort when the numbing medicine was given during the surgery, and no pain during recovery as well. I had the FUE procedure, and as I look in the mirror, I am extremely happy with the apparent repair of the softening my hairline which looked terrible due to old plugs from decades ago starting in 1976. They also went further back to fill in other areas I had concern about. The cost was also all inclusive and extremely reasonable. If you're on the fence, fall off on the side of Northwestern Hair & Dr. Rawlani.

I started noticing my hairline thinning around age 27 with recession at the temples. It progressed pretty rapidly, though it's slowed now. Definitely shook up my world because I thought it was way too early. I got consults at 3-4 reputable offices but Northwestern Hair was the best for a couple reasons:

 1. No BS. All the info is on the websites, the doctors were very straight forward, understanding, and patient.

 2. Before and after-care is just as important as the procedure. I definitely got the vibe at other locations they were trying to get as many people in and out as possible. And the most important (although #2 is a very close second):

 3. All in one. I had considered getting scalp micro-pigmentation as a supplement and it's extremely convenient to have it done in the same location. I will already know the team. Ditto for the add-on therapies like PFT. They also offer compounded medicine straight through the office with the actual clinically proven stuff, like finasteride/dutasteride. I was previously getting my fin through Hims but it was more expensive and not compounded.

I still have a decent hairline for now but when my time comes for a transplant I know where I am going to go. Until then, thanks to point #3, I can try and maintain or slow shedding/recession with the preventative therapies through NW hair.

I underwent a beard transplant procedure back in March of 2021. I met with Dr Rawlani for my initial consultation and he explained the different options available for me. I was able to ask all of my questions freely and he provided detailed answers. The procedure itself went very smoothly. Aside from minor discomfort while getting numbed (absolutely expected) I didn't feel any real pain. The pre-recorded Dr Rawlani created helped out so much in order to manage the aftercare. Dr Rawlani kept in touch with me over the course of the next year, checking in to see how I was doing and answering any questions.

After 1 year I noticed there were a few spots still missing hair where I desired in my beard. I contacted Dr Rawlani and after a brief consultation he advised we do a small follow up procedure to fill in the missing areas. Just as before the procedure went very quick and virtually painless. Dr. Rawlani and his staff were readily available if I had questions, and they were proactive with communicating during the time between my consultation and procedure.

On the day of the procedure, everything was focused on making me as comfortable as possible. In all honesty, the procedure was relaxing and as pleasant as a procedure like a hair transplant could possibly be.

The post operation procedure was clearly communicated, and I was given all materials needed to follow the post-op care plan. Also, I would receive SMS on post-op days detailing what to do.

During that time and until I showed up for the follow-up appointment, Dr. Rawlani would answer my questions even if late at night. On the follow-up appointment, Dr. Rawlani examined my scalp to ensure the healing process was going as planned.

His thoroughness, and care before, during, and post procedure is outstanding as well. The staff, and clinic he has is also outstanding with Dr. Carmen Ramirez, and Delilah, forgive me if misspelled. They were also fantastic. They were all very gentle, very skilled & caring. The whole procedure before, during, and after is so well thought out with even a care package that Dr. Rawlani prepared for me to take home after the procedure which includes everything you need including the rx's he previously prescribed for me. I really had no pain throughout, just seconds of very mild discomfort when the numbing medicine was given during the surgery, and no pain during recovery as well. I had the FUE procedure, and as I look in the mirror, I am extremely happy with the apparent repair of the softening my hairline which looked terrible due to old plugs from decades ago starting in 1976. They also went further back to fill in other areas I had concern about. The cost was also all inclusive and extremely reasonable. If you're on the fence, fall off on the side of Northwestern Hair & Dr. Rawlani.

I started noticing my hairline thinning around age 27 with recession at the temples. It progressed pretty rapidly, though it's slowed now. Definitely shook up my world because I thought it was way too early. I got consults at 3-4 reputable offices but Northwestern Hair was the best for a couple reasons:

 1. No BS. All the info is on the websites, the doctors were very straight forward, understanding, and patient.

 2. Before and after-care is just as important as the procedure. I definitely got the vibe at other locations they were trying to get as many people in and out as possible. And the most important (although #2 is a very close second):

 3. All in one. I had considered getting scalp micro-pigmentation as a supplement and it's extremely convenient to have it done in the same location. I will already know the team. Ditto for the add-on therapies like PFT. They also offer compounded medicine straight through the office with the actual clinically proven stuff, like finasteride/dutasteride. I was previously getting my fin through Hims but it was more expensive and not compounded.

I still have a decent hairline for now but when my time comes for a transplant I know where I am going to go. Until then, thanks to point #3, I can try and maintain or slow shedding/recession with the preventative therapies through NW hair.
