Payment Plans & HSA

头发移植融资

A hair transplant is an elective procedure paid out of pocket. Most of our patients spread the cost over monthly payments rather than paying the full amount at once.

Northwestern Hair works with three patient financing companies — PatientFi, CareCredit, and Cherry. All three are independent lenders. You apply directly with them; they make the credit decision, and they set your rate and term. We are not a party to the loan and we receive no part of your interest.

There is no fee for using a credit card and no fee for financing. The price of your procedure is the same, however you choose to pay it.

Review our detailed procedure costs before applying for financing.

Financing Options

Rates, terms, promotional periods, and credit requirements are determined by each lender and are subject to change. Review the terms on the lender’s application before you accept a plan.

PatientFi is the option we recommend patients try first. The application takes a few minutes, you get a decision on screen, and you can apply before your consultation — which many patients prefer, since walking in already knowing your approved amount makes the planning conversation more concrete.

Cherry evaluates applications using factors beyond a conventional credit score. Self-employed patients and business owners sometimes find it a better fit than lenders that weight documented income heavily.

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card issued by Synchrony Bank. It works like a credit card reserved for health and wellness expenses, and it stays open after your procedure for future care. Promotional financing terms are offered on qualifying purchases and are set by Synchrony, not by our office.

Paying With HSA or FSA

Northwestern Hair is a physician-owned medical practice. We can process your HSA or FSA card at our office, and we provide an itemized invoice showing the date of service, the treating physician, the procedure performed, and the amount paid.
Whether the expense is eligible under your plan depends on why you are losing hair, and that determination is made by your plan administrator, not by our office. Transplantation for 雄激素性脱发 is generally treated as cosmetic.

Hair loss with an underlying medical cause is treated differently — scarring alopecia, hair loss following burn, trauma, or surgery, and hair loss related to disease or its treatment can qualify. For those cases, we can provide a letter documenting your diagnosis along with your itemized invoice. Submitting it to your administrator is your responsibility — our office is not staffed to manage that process for you.

Confirm eligibility with your administrator before you spend the funds.

Other Ways to Pay

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cashier’s checks, and cash. You can also split payment — cover part of the procedure with a card or HSA funds and finance the rest.

Deposit and Payment Schedule

$500 Deposit

Reserves your surgery date and is applied to the cost of your procedure. It is refundable if you cancel more than two weeks before your surgery.

One Week Before Surgery

Payment in full is due. If you are financing, your approval should be complete before that point so the funds are in place.

Frequently Asked Questions About Financing

头发移植手术是否包含在保险范围内?

No. Insurance treats hair restoration as elective. A narrow set of situations is occasionally covered — reconstruction after a burn or injury, and hairline surgery as part of gender-affirming care. If you intend to pursue coverage, we can schedule your procedure and provide an itemized invoice along with a letter documenting your diagnosis. Our office is not staffed to handle prior authorizations, appeals, or correspondence with insurers, so submitting the claim and following up on it would be yours to manage.

Yes, and we suggest it. PatientFi is the easiest one to start with. Knowing your approved amount ahead of time makes the consultation more productive, because we can build the plan around a number that is real for you.

No. The price is the same regardless of payment method.

No. Financing is arranged before the procedure.

Yes, if you cancel more than two weeks before your surgery date. The $500 is applied to your procedure cost, so it is not an added charge. Within two weeks, the date has been held and staffed, and the deposit is not returned.

No. All financing runs through PatientFi, Cherry, or CareCredit.

Next Step

Schedule a consultation to get a graft count and a firm quote, then apply with whichever lender you prefer. If you would rather have the financing settled first, start with PatientFi and bring your approval to the consultation.
