We typically recommend that clients wait till their thirties until getting a hair transplant unless your hair loss is aggressive and causes significant emotional or social distress.

When can you go back to work after hair transplant?

Many people can return to remote work the day after a FUE hair transplant, but those with physical job should wait 10 days before returning to physical labor.

When can you exercise after a FUE hair transplant?

On day 2 after your transplant, you can resume light activity, but you cannot sweat or strain. On day 5, you can sweat but you cannot strain. On day 10, you can sweat and strain lightly and at 3 weeks you can strain moderately. In 6 weeks, you can return to contact sports.

Will I need a second hair transplant procedure?

Most people do not need a second transplant, but if you have significant hair loss or if you continue to lose hair after your procedure, a second procedure may be beneficial.

What is the best age to get a FUE hair transplant?

We tell patients to wait till you are at least 25 years old. Prior to this age, it is difficult to predict your future hair loss and plan your procedure appropriately.
