Wasif’s case became a turning point in how we approach design. We brought in one of Chicago’s top stylists to show us how his hair could move and fall, then we planned the procedure around that vision. But the real work happened in mapping his future recession first, then building backward from there.
We gave Wasif two hairline options: convex and sharp, or rolling and timeless. Both were conservative. Both were safe. He chose the sharper shape, and we pulled the hairline back just four millimeters, a change invisible from the front but strategic from the side. That small adjustment saved 800 grafts we could use for the crown and future proofing.
The entire design took 90 minutes. I can’t express enough how that one step changed everything about his result.
